Tonia Chagnon, NAWBO National Virtual Events Coordinator
Business
Working with the membership team at NAWBO HQ is such a great connection to NAWBO. I’m a problem solver by nature and enjoy helping our members and chapters untangle the knots, celebrate the wins and connect the dots. I am super excited to meet each and every one of you and discover your inner smile spot (mine is baby giggle—you can’t not smile when you hear a baby giggle).
Lifestyle
I live right outside of Washington, DC. I enjoy being able to visit the crazy of the city or go the opposite direction and visit the beauty of the countryside. I am an avid sports fan and love being around people (thanks COVID…this stinks!). My two boys, of course, are the highlight of my everything and I love watching them become men and flourish.
Community
Being a part of the community is essential to me. The one thing I always ask in work, life and community is how can I help? I volunteered with the Make A Wish Foundation for over 16 years and loved every single second! I am now focusing my energy in a few different ways. I am the chair of the Women in Business Initiative advisory board at George Mason University. I am also on the Board of Friends of Loudoun Mental Health. I help out whenever I can and however I can.
