It is such a unique opportunity to be part of the team launching the NAWBO Institute Certification program and I am extremely grateful. Helping to elevate women-owned businesses and assisting them in acquiring the WBE/MWBE certification is a step toward more inclusion and opportunity. A majority of my professional career has been in sales and account management, with a focus on relationship building and collaboration. My core belief is that every successful business interaction stems from a strong and trustworthy relationship

Lifestyle

Balance, positive energy and freedom are my basic principles for life. Having two daughters, it is so important for them to be empowered by strong female role models and to witness the courage and entrepreneurial spirit of female innovation. Inclusion, diversity and representation lead to opportunity for all.

Community

Community is so important and vital. My community comes from family, friends and all of the wonderful people who live in my small, Lake Michigan beach town. “A rising tide lifts all boats” is one of my favorite quotes because I truly believe in the concept of lifting each other up. My life outside of NAWBO is full of family, writing children’s books, studying aromatherapy, enjoying live theater and always looking for things that make me laugh!
