About our presenter:

Dana F. Brewer is the Founder and CEO of Computer Information Station, Inc., an IT consulting firm established in 1988 to empower small businesses through technology. Born and raised in Oakland, California, Dana is a true Californian. Her educational journey includes studies at UC Berkeley Extension and a Bachelor of Education from The University of Science, Arts, and Technology (BWI). Throughout her career, she have been driven by honesty and integrity, values that have earned her the trust and respect of her clients, friends, and family. Her mission is to help businesses leverage technology to reduce costs and enhance productivity and efficiency. Over the past 35+ years, she has built long-lasting client relationships, some spanning over two decades, and has mentored numerous young professionals and emerging business owners. As a NAWBO San Francisco Chapter board member, she supports and advocates for women business owners. Her expertise spans AI for business growth, IT infrastructure, IT governance, networking, systems integration, application development, office productivity platforms governance (M365 and Google Business), and cybersecurity.

Key Achievements:

  • Managed and governed the IT function for the 8th largest transportation agency’s multi-million-dollar paratransit project for nearly 20 years, leading a digital transformation that saved thousands of dollars.
  • Engineered, managed, and maintained the technology infrastructure and service desk for East Bay Paratransit (Bart and AC Transit) for over a decade.
  • Assisted hundreds of Bay Area businesses and owner-operator construction firms in growing their businesses through effective technology strategies.
  • Created job opportunities for underserved Bay Area youth for over 30 years.
