We know women have a lot on their plates, especially women entrepreneurs!  We know that taking care of yourself and your health sometimes comes last. But the price of cardiovascular disease is too high to ignore.  Did you know that:

– 1 in 3 women will pay that price with their life.
– Cardiovascular disease does not discriminate, and it is not a one-size-fits all issue. It’s as diverse and complex as women are.
– A woman’s unique risks for heart disease and stroke change over time.

For 20 years the American Heart Association has been focused on increasing awareness about women’s heart and brain health.  Through Go Red for Women, we strive to educate women that heart disease is their leading cause of death, to empower women to be business leaders, moms, and partners, and to connect women with other women for information, motivation and inspiration.

Through Go Red for Women, we will work together to create bold hearts, share bold stories, and be bold voices for a healthy and equitable future for all women.  Join us on February 8th to hear from the women of the American Heart Association – staff, survivors, volunteers, and doctors. You’ll have the chance to ask questions, network, and learn hands-only CPR.
