Who owns the domain name for our chapter?
You (your chapter) do! When you sign up for the annual Chapter Site service, we will set up your chapter site within our domain (example: www.nawbo.org/yourchaptername), which you can use as your public site address. If you prefer, you can use a domain name you already own or register a new one. Just contact us, and we’ll be happy to assist you in pointing that domain to your new site.
How secure are our chapter microsite and documents?
We use industry-standard encryption (SSL) for your chapter site and documents. Your data is secure, and we never share your information. Your chapter microsite service will be hosted on the same fast and secure infrastructure managed by NAWBO National.
Do we get email accounts/addresses with our chapter microsite service?
Our service does not include email hosting. You will need to use your own email hosting provider, such as Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, or another external email service.
After we sign, how long are we locked into our service?
The service is available only as an annual plan. You may cancel your service before the renewal date next year.
Our chapter leadership team isn't technical. Do we need to find a developer or vendor to create and maintain our chapter microsite?
