What if you could combine two of your favorite things in life: Shopping and giving? Well, you can.
Veronica Beard, Sugarpova, Maria Sharapova and NAWBO launched an exciting fundraiser on March 1 that will run through the end of the month—and all proceeds benefit NAWBO’s Institute for Entrepreneurial Development.
Here’s how it works: During the month of March, $10 from every online sale at VeronicaBeard.com will be donated to the NAWBO Institute. At the end of March, online sales will be tallied and the Sharapova team will present the check to NAWBO.
It also includes three Speak & Shop (Shop for Cause) events at three Veronica Beard stores with a focus on women helping women and women giving back within the community to help each other succeed. These events will spotlight the Sharapova Women Entrepreneur Program, NAWBO and Sugarpova and will feature impressive NAWBO women as guest speakers.
The in-store event schedule was as follows:
New York: March 6
Maisha Walker, Message Medium
Elizabeth Foster, Maison Visionnaire
Sophie Wade, Flexcel Network LLC
Los Angeles: March 12
Reema Dutt, LuminouStudios
Camille Vizzavona, Birthstone Scents

About the Sharapova Women Entrepreneur Program
Through the Sharapova Women Entrepreneur Program, seven women were selected to take a journey together over a 12-month period to learn from each other, gain access to additional education and resources and focus on growing their businesses with added support. The seven receive mentoring monthly, mastermind group, the One Page Business Plan with ongoing support, access to additional connections and resources through Traub Consumer Group, PR opportunities and heightened visibility in the marketplace. Maria Sharapova chose NAWBO to partner with for her flagship program as NAWBO brought the history, culture, resources, influence and infrastructure in place to substantially move women businesses forward.
