NAWBO Stands Ready to Work with the Trump Administration
Washington, D.C. —The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and Chair of the NAWBO National Board, Dr. Janis Shinkawa, released the following statement as the Trump transition team gets ready to prepare for 2025.
“We look forward to working with the Trump Administration to continue to grow our nation’s economy. We want to be a resource as the Administration crafts economic and tax policy that will play a pivotal role in the success of women business owners—an essential component of American economic vibrancy. We hope the next four years lead to sound policy where the Administration and Congressional leaders on both sides of the aisle work together. We know a bipartisan approach will lead to the best path forward for women business owners.
“NAWBO continues our mission to propel women into political spheres of power. As with his previous Administration, we look forward to the Trump Administration appointing strong, qualified women in prominent leadership roles. We genuinely believe our nation hears the voice of women business owners when we sit at the table during the tough conversations, and we look forward to the opportunity to provide recommendations for our NAWBO women and women around the country to serve.”
