NAWBO Looks Forward to Bipartisan Collaboration with New Senate Small Business Committee Leaders Ernst, Markey
The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) celebrates the appointments of Senators Joni Ernst (R-IA) and Ed Markey (D-MA) as Chair and Ranking Member of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship for the 119th Congress.
Senator Ernst has been a powerful advocate and voice for women business owners in Congress. NAWBO was proud to host Senator Ernst at our 2023 Advocacy Day Conference in Washington, D.C., where she highlighted her deep commitment to supporting women entrepreneurs through increased access to capital opportunities. We are eager to continue working closely with her as she leads the committee.
We are equally excited to see Senator Markey take on the role of Ranking Member. His prior service on the committee reflects his dedication to ensuring that women business owners have the tools they need to succeed.
