NAWBO® Expresses Condolences to  Senator Dianne Feinstein’s Family and Her Staff Members

Women business owners will forever remember the legacy of Senator Feinstein.

Washington, D.C. (September 29, 2023)—Today, the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) released a statement expressing their condolences to the family and staff of Senator Dianne Feinstein, the longest-serving female U.S. Senator in history.

“Senator Feinstein leaves a lasting legacy. As we honor her service to our country, NAWBO would also like to express our deepest sympathy to her family and staff,” said Dr. Janis Shinkawa, NAWBO Advocacy Chair and Board Chair-Elect.

“For three decades, Senator Feinstein worked tirelessly for her constituents. In June of this year, Senator Feinstein announced that California was awarded more than $1.8 billion in funding for broadband access in California due to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Her bipartisan efforts have strengthened California and our nation’s women business owners.”
