NAWBO Congratulates Loeffler on Confirmation to Lead SBA
Washington, D.C. — The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) congratulates former Georgia Senator Kelly Loeffler on her confirmation by the United States Senate to lead the Small Business Administration (SBA). Loeffler crossed the finish line in a 52-46 vote with the support of Republicans and Democratic Senator Jacky Rosen (NV).
“We congratulate Administrator Loeffler on her confirmation to serve as Small Business Administrator,” said NAWBO Board Chair Dr. Janis Shinkawa. “We are proud to be a persistent advocate for women business owners, and we hope to work with Administrator Loeffler to bring certainty and security to women’s programs within the SBA. The Administration’s support for specific programs, such as the Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) program, will ensure that women can continue to enter the federal procurement system and scale their businesses.”
