NAWBO National Will Highlight Contribution Women Small Business Owners Make to the Economy Through Video Contest
(Washington, D.C., April 1, 2014) —The National Association of Women Business Owners® (NAWBO) is kicking off a competition aimed at highlighting the tremendous contribution women small business owners make to the nation’s economy. For the next month, during their “No Small Thing” contest, NAWBO will be accepting submissions from women small business owners who wish to highlight in a 2-minute or less video the one thing that’s contributed most to their success as a small business.
The videos of the five selected winners will be featured online from May 12-16, during National Small Business Week.
“We know it is no small thing to run your own business. It requires great perseverance, enthusiasm, and 24-7 availability and attention to detail,” said Billie Dragoo, NAWBO National Board Chair. “We are proud host the ‘No Small Thing’ contest to honor the significant contribution women small business owners make to NAWBO and to the country’s economy as a whole.”
The NAWBO Small Business Week Contest is open only to women-owned small businesses that were founded and are headquartered in the United States. The deadline to submit a video is April 30, 2014. Videos may be submitted to [email protected].
