NAWBO and WIPP Announce Partnership to Empower Women Business Owners Nationwide
Washington, D.C. – The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) are pleased to announce a formal partnership to strengthen the support and advocacy for women business owners across the United States. This collaboration aims to address key issues impacting women entrepreneurs on Capitol Hill and with the presidential administration, as well as to provide valuable education and assistance resources.
WIPP President and CEO Angela Dingle was joined in Washington, D.C., during the WIPP 2024 Legislative Fly-In by NAWBO Director of Stakeholder Engagement Becky Ragan for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony. “WIPP and NAWBO are two of the largest national organizations working on behalf of women-owned businesses. We are excited about the partnership and collaboration in support of women business owners,” Dingle said during the ceremony. “NAWBO partnered with WIPP on the Regional Micro Business Listening Tour, where we heard from women business owners across the country regarding the needs of micro businesses. We’re proud to formalize our partnership and move this important work forward on behalf of women-owned businesses,” said NAWBO CEO Jen Earle.
This partnership will enable WIPP and NAWBO to work together to advance policies that support the success of women-owned businesses. The partnership will also bring the memberships of both organizations closer, providing opportunities for collaboration through events, policy discussions, and surveys.
