I’m really excited to be involved with NAWBO Membership again. Previously, I was the Chapter Manager for the Columbus, Ohio, NAWBO chapter for several years and enjoyed working with and learning from the women I met there. Many are still friends. To me, NAWBO is a no-brainer for any woman business owner, no matter what level they’re at.
Lifestyle
I live in a rural area of Ohio, so working virtually all these years has really expanded my horizons. I’ve had the chance to meet so many great people worldwide that I wouldn’t have been able to before. Along with my husband of 22 years and my two sons, my family includes three dogs and the possibility of always adding more (goats, alpacas, mini cows, etc.).
Community
The pandemic has somewhat curtailed a lot of my activities, but I’ve always been active in our local arts community, local events and fundraisers and as an overall volunteer for whatever needs to be done. Over the years, I’ve organized festivals for everything from dulcimer music to hunting shows to a national Earth Day summit and have loved participating in all of them!
