Andrea Chaffey knew the moment she walked into a sample class at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts that she had found her calling. Her natural abilities in the kitchen and her love of entertaining were a perfect match for the quality education she received. Aside from having a bachelor’s degree in business from Pepperdine University, she graduated from Le Cordon Bleu with honors and was selected to represent her school in ACF (American Culinary Federation) competitions.
Andrea has been executive chef for functions as large as 450, as well as elegant meals for two . She joined NAWBOVC at her first event, which was BRAVO 2015, as a guest of Debra Yahner. In addition to catering, personal chef services, and private in-home instruction, Cuisine by Andrea will be offering classes to the public in early 2016. Sample classes include: “Root to Stem” (how to utilize the entire vegetable), stock making and uses, knife skills, and date night meals.
