Advocacy Event & We Decide 2016

Jul 12, 2017 | Advocacy

Every election year presents voters with a tremendous opportunity.  We are very fortunate to live in a country where we choose our elected officials on a constant and non-violent basis.

Of course with this opportunity, comes great responsibility.

As we continue to proceed towards this historic election year, we are doing all we can to make sure you are empowered and educated to make the best choice at the ballot box based on what you believe is best for your family, your community, your business, and our country.

What do you believe the proper role of government should be? Who do you want representing us each to other and to the world?

You have a voice! And collectively at NAWBO we have an even greater and larger voice.

That is why we are putting together several opportunities for you to engage this year.

Please mark your calendar for June 13 through the 15th for this year’s NAWBO advocacy event in Washington DC.  Advocacy Day is open to Premier Members.  Register Today!

Building off of our successful event last year, this year’s three-day program will allow you to customize your experience based on your availability and advocacy plans and will include meetings with key members of the administration and on Capitol Hill as well as opportunities to connect with your fantastic fellow NAWBO members!

To learn more, please reach out to our vice president of external affairs Joy Lutes at [email protected].

To make sure you get all the latest information, NAWBO is proud to have partnered with WIPP on WE Decide 2016.

This online platform will ensure you have access to information as the election process moves forward. It is also a great place to interact with others and take online polls to make sure your voice is heard!

As you have probably heard Joy paraphrase – decisions are made by those who show up!

Decide what you will show up to support this year and take action.  We at NAWBO are always here to offer access and support to the information and influencers you need.
