Mary Balistreri Joins the NAWBO Chicago Board

 

This Fall marked an exciting new chapter for Mary Balistreri and other women business owners in Wisconsin…literally. The state is now home to the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Wisconsin, a satellite office of its neighboring chapter, NAWBO Chicago.  

 

Mary Balistreri, the Mindful Business Coach, is a Certified Conversational Intelligence Coach with 20 years of experience as a business development professional. Through her company (MBT More Business Today)she has been meeting several female entrepreneurs who could significantly benefit from NAWBO and the resources that the organization provides its members. As a result, Mary was inspired to work with NAWBO Chicago to launch the Wisconsin satellite. She will play an integral role in establishing NAWBO’s presence in Wisconsin. She will spearhead recruitment in the state, connecting with entrepreneurial women from Green Bay to Wauwatosa, the city that Balistreri calls home.  

 

As one of the largest NAWBO chapters, NAWBO Chicago is excited to extend its reach via NAWBO Wisconsin and provide an inclusive business community to women business owners in the state.  

 

Keeping in line with NAWBO Chicago’s mission, NAWBO Wisconsin aims to:

 

  • Build strategic alliancescoalitions and affiliations 
  • Create innovative and effective change in the business culture 
  • Strengthen the wealth-creating capacity of members and promote economic development 

 

More About Mary 

Mary Balistreri offers a variety of coaching and professional development services to individuals and organizations focused on harnessing strengths to grow talent and develop more business. She is a certified Leadership & Talent Management Coach, a certified Conversational Intelligence (CIQ) Coach, a certified diversity and belonging facilitator, and she holds a certificate in DEI in the Workplace from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business. 

 

Mary brings more than 20 years’ experience as a business development professional to her coaching and training engagements. Mary’s business (MBT More Business Today LLC) is a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) through the WBENC (Women’s Business Enterprise National Council). She is a member of ICF (International Coaching Federation), NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners) and ATD (Association for Talent Development). 

 

Mary enjoys gardening, baking and arts of all kinds. She lives in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin with her husband, son and a houseful of pets.
