A Message From Our President: Fresh Starts

Feb 2, 2021

Happy New Year! We can’t believe it’s already 2021, but we’re so glad to leave 2020 behind.

Our theme for January is “Fresh Starts” – a fresh start for you, for your relationships, and especially for your business! No matter what kind of year 2020 was for you, it’s never too late to start a new year off on a better foot.

For the Solopreneur:

One of your most important goals as an early-stage business is to understand your customers. This is even more important during a time where everything is rapidly changing because the way we do business is quickly evolving. Being able to understand your customers and your customer base will shape everything from the products and services you offer to how to market and interact with them.

One way you can do this is to conduct a social media analysis. Understanding what your followers and customers talk about, what they buy, and what their habits are can help you better understand how and when to communicate with them.

You might also consider consulting with fellow NAWBO members who have reached the $1 million mark to learn how they accomplished this early on.

For the Medium-Sized Business:

With a medium-sized business, it’s all about planning to reach that next level of desired growth. You’ve made great progress, but you want to go even further so it’s vital to make sure that you have something formal in place to propel your success.

Consider tapping into the expertise of a partner like One Page Business Plan to push you to the next level! One Page Business Plan promises simple assistance and solutions that will ensure you can maximize results. (One Page Business Plan is also a great resource for solopreneurs looking to expand their team, as well!)

For Larger Businesses:

It’s important – especially for women business owners of larger enterprises – to remember that your business will only continue to grow when you do. Leadership development is absolutely critical at this stage of your growth because you are managing diverse, multi-generational teams. Put together a panel of top leadership experts and peers from your community to share tips and insights on bringing your larger business to the next level!

No matter where you are with your business, and no matter what your goals for 2020 were, 2021 can be the year that everything turns around for you. Don’t wait to build the business of your dreams. Join us in jumping into January with a fresh start!

Oh, and Happy New Year!
