WBC Speaker Q-and-A: Allison Maslan Helps You Turn Your Business Dreams Into Reality

Sep 23, 2015 | Uncategorized

As a successful entrepreneur, Allison Maslan uses her experience and expertise to help other business owners embrace their greatness and see their businesses grow and succeed. Her best-selling book Blast Off! The Surefire Success Plan to Launch Your Dreams Into Reality hit number one on Amazon in three categories in the U.S., Canada and U.K., and she has been an expert guest on several ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX News shows across the U.S. Read on to find out how she’s inspiring the change at this year’s National Women’s Business Conference hosted by NAWBO next week.

Q: Tell us a little bit about you.

I’m the CEO of Allison Maslan International (AMI), a global business mentoring company. I started my first business at age 19 and have built more than 10 successful companies from the ground up. Since then, I have guided thousands of individuals to create inner and outer wealth by helping them grow a prosperous business and a passionate life.

Q: What’s next for you and your business, and how will you get there?

As with any business, each year, you always want to be growing and improving. At AMI, we are expanding further into global markets to offer the highest level of support to business owners worldwide. We are making this a reality by using the exact same high-level business strategies that we teach our wonderful business owner clients. It is the “walk your talk” way of doing business!

Q: What are some things you’d like to see changed for women entrepreneurs?

I want to see more women stepping into their greatness. Growing your own business is a powerful vehicle to share your voice and make your mark on the world. Women are savvy creators and powerful leaders. We need more representation from women in Washington D.C. to bridge the gap and give women entrepreneurs more opportunity for success.

Q: We live and work in an environment of constant change…how have you learned to embrace change?

I happen to love change. I think this is a crucial characteristic that every business owner needs to succeed. Business changes daily. Unexpected twists and turns in technology, employees, client demand and more keep the entrepreneur on her toes. Embracing change means rolling with the opportunities and challenges that fall at your feet. Once you can embrace this truth, business becomes much more fun and profitable!

Q: What’s one change you’ve recently made or been part of, and how have you been positively impacted by it?

I recently hired a Chief of Operations, and it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made in my business. Now our operations run so much more smoothly, and it allows me to do what the CEO is meant to do: create strategy, grow the brand and build rewarding and profitable relationships for the company. I have also invested a great deal of time and money into creating a fun, supportive and growth-oriented company culture. This has been dramatically positive in creating an environment of committed, passionate and creative team members at AMI.

Q: Why is a conference like this one for women entrepreneurs critical?

We always need to be working at improving our game and staying inspired. When you step away from your business and learn from the wisdom of other successful business owners, you can return to your company with new ideas and newfound energy to reboot and grow your business. The relationships you make in the process are one of the most rewarding aspects of business altogether.

Q: If women walk away from your presentation with one thing, what do you want it to be?

I want them to walk away with a clear road map to lead their team and company to success!

You won’t want to miss Allison and all the other amazing speakers who will be at the National Women’s Business Conference, September 27-29 (Leadership Boot Camp on the 27th and the Conference on the 28th-29th), in San Antonio, Texas.
