(Washington, D.C. December 14, 2017) — Teresa Meares, National Board Chair of the NAWBO Institute for Entrepreneurial Development, has been named a Vice President of Femmes Chefs d’Entreprises Mondiales (FCEM). FCEM is the pioneer association uniting women business owners from the world over that today includes over 120 different countries and 5 million members from the five continents.
“I am honored to have been selected to serve as a Vice President of FCEM,” said Meares. “I will be working with the FCEM leadership to focus on training, education, and assisting with survey needs of women entrepreneurs around the world. We look forward to working together at FCEM and NAWBO to better understand the similarities and variances of women business owners so we can better support and empower each other.”
NAWBO will be hosting the international leadership of FCEM in New York City April 12-14. The event, the theme of which is “Exporting Entrepreneurism,” will take place in conjunction with a NAWBO Leadership Development Training.
