(Washington, D.C. November 7, 2016)—The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) is announcing its endorsement of Jackie Walorski in her bid for re-election to Congress from Indiana’s 2nd District.
NAWBO National screens candidates for endorsement solely on their history of business ownership or their voting record demonstrating their consistent support of business owners.
“We share Jackie Walorski’s commitment to boosting economic growth and supporting business owners. As the daughter of a small business owner herself, she understands the significant contribution small businesses make to the economy,” said Teresa Meares, NAWBO National Board Chair. “We are pleased to announce our endorsement of her candidacy and look forward to continuing to work with her on behalf of our members.”
Additional endorsements will be made by NAWBO prior to the November 8 general election. In 2014, 94% of the candidates NAWBO National endorsed were elected.
Founded in 1975, the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) is the unified voice of America’s more than 9.1 million women-owned businesses representing the fastest growing segment of the economy. NAWBO is the only dues-based organization representing the interests of all women entrepreneurs across all industries.
