NAWBO National Looks Forward to Continuing Work with SBA on behalf of women business owners

(Washington, D.C. December 13, 2016)—The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) is pleased to congratulate Linda McMahon on her nomination to lead the Small Business Administration under the Trump Administration.

NAWBO National works in close collaboration with the Small Business Administration. Both have a common goal in supporting educational efforts and advocating for women entrepreneurs.  Through a long-standing relationship with the SBA and its staff, NAWBO brings members the most up-to-date research and opportunities in the small business ecosystem.

“Linda McMahon has an impressive track record of supporting the growth of women starting and owning their own business.  We are excited to follow her through the confirmation process and to work with her and her team once she is confirmed to lead the Small Business Administration,” said Teresa Meares, NAWBO National Board Chair.

Linda McMahon is the co-founder and former CEO of the World Wrestling Entertainment.  Additionally, she is co-founder and CEO of Women’s Leadership Live that fosters a network of women business leaders and offers practical advice and inspiration at their annual conference.  She is also known for her speaking series, “Women Can Have It All.”
