NAWBO SAN DIEGO ANNOUNCES 2017 BRAVO! AWARD WINNERS

SAN DIEGO—May 29, 2017 —The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) San Diego promotes, supports and educates women business owners in achieving success. NAWBO celebrated the achievements of female entrepreneurs at its annual awards dinner on May 17 honoring all finalists. Congratulations go out to our eight BRAVO! Award winners:

The gala included an energetic keynote presentation from Lisa Sasevich, owner & CEO of The Invisible Close. Sasevich shared how to be a successful woman business owner and give back to the community; in Lisa’s words, to “lift as you climb.” A silent auction held during the festivities raised scholarship funds for women business students at San Diego City College. Mindy Bortness, President of NAWBO-San Diego said, “Women entrepreneurs are the fastest growing segment of new businesses and our market is particularly strong. It’s our mission to support their success and this night is our tribute to them.”
