ABOUT NAWBO

The National Association of Women Business Owners is a membership-based organization which supports women in the growth of their business through local, regional and national events, while also giving them a unified voice to help shape economic and public policy at the state and federal level.

NAWBO was formed when a group of business women came together to fight for the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ratified in 1974), which finally allowed women to open a credit card or take out a loan without a male cosigner.  www.NAWBO.org & www.NAWBOSanDiego.org

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Felena Hanson is the past president of NAWBO San Diego. She is a long-time entrepreneur (over 18 years) and marketing maven.  Her latest venture, Hera Hub, is a spa-inspired shared workspace and business accelerator for female entrepreneurs. She has scaled the business to six locations and over one million dollars in annual revenue.  Felena and Hera Hub have been featured in Inc Magazine, the BBC News, Forbes, and the New York Times.  She is a published author and international speaker. Her book, “Flight Club – Rebel, Reinvent, and Thrive: How to Launch Your Dream Business” is available on Amazon.

If you can fit it into your schedule, I highly recommend applying for my next virtual Business Growth Academy.  It’s totally virtual and is facilitated in a small group setting with other awesome business owners, giving you an instant support group.

All the details can be found at – https://www.launchandgrow.org/calbank

Be sure to watch the overview video, which will explain everything.

You may also enjoy learning how the academy helped others – https://youtu.be/CB0jo3VxhaM.

Note, that this is a fully sponsored program by Cal Bank & Trust – so the $1500 fee is waived.

One other note… I can “give a little” on the criteria for participation… so don’t stress about that.  I wouldn’t have reached out to you if I didn’t think it was a good fit.

Let me know if you have any questions!
