Announcing the First Annual Relationship Accelerator Academy
A NAWBO San Diego event powered by the content of Corporate Alliance

SAN DIEGO— August 10, 2016 —The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) San Diego, which promotes, supports and educates women business owners in achieving success, announced today that they are collaborating with Corporate Alliance to present the first annual Relationship Accelerator Academy. The daylong event will be on Thursday, August 25, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Cape Rey Carlsbad, A Hilton Resort, 1 Ponto Road, Carlsbad, CA 92011.

Business is about relationships! And this 1-day event will change the way you build relationships from the inside out. It is chock-full of opportunities to engage with other leaders in their, and your, personal and business success. In this Learn, Serve, Grow Culture, you’ll learn about others, brainstorm on how you might be able to serve them, with the outcome that all involved have the potential to grow. The segments for the day generate thought leadership, peer advisory, hands-on exercises and stimulating conversation. There’s truly not another forum like it.

Meet our speaker: Danielle McLaughlin

In August 2004, Danielle’s left foot was amputated following a recurrence of Synovial Sarcoma. In 2014, Danielle completed the CAF Million Dollar Challenge; a cycling tour covering 620 miles from San Francisco to San Diego. She was the first female Challenged Athlete to ride with the group and complete the challenge. Since then, Danielle has continued to race and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Who knew that one goal could lead to so many opportunities. This is where her story begins.

NAWBO San Diego’s Charity-of-the-Month: Our beneficiary for the month of August is Traveling Stories. Traveling Stories needs your help collecting prizes for the StoryTent. Kids visit the program, read books out loud with volunteers or their parents and earn a book buck for each book read. Kids can use their book bucks to buy prizes! For a full listing of items to donate, please visit nawbo-sd.org

Registration is available through 5 p.m. on August 18. More information, including online registration, is available at nawbo-sd.org.
