On March 20, 2018, the Dallas/ Ft. Worth (NAWBODFW) Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners was honored by Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson. The commendation was presented at the Women in Leadership: Essential Skills to Propel Your Business event where HR 5050 was highlighted and U. Renee Hall, who made history in Dallas as the first female police chief, made the keynote presentation.
