Women, Wine & Wisdom is the NAWBO SNV version of a book club and is all about combining the social desire many of us have to connect with other women while challenging ourselves to hear different perspectives and of course, learn and grow!
This month's book is The Gifts of Imperfection: Let Go of Who You Think You're Supposed to Be and Embrace Who You Are. Each day we are faced with countless photos and messages from media and society that tells us who, what, and how we are supposed to be. We believe that if we keep the appearance of a perfect life, we will no longer feel inadequate. In ‘The Gifts of Imperfection: Let Go of Who You Think You're Supposed to Be and Embrace Who You Are’, Brené Brown explores how we can become compassionate, courageous, and confident to start believing that we are enough no matter what happens.
