How to Get Contracts with PG&E & Other Large Corporations: A panel discussion with NAWBO SFBA President and PG&E
Supplier diversity levels the playing field for businesses and certifying as a diverse supplier puts you in a position of opportunity to bid on contracts that you may not otherwise have access to. In this program, we will discuss how to do business with large corporations like PG&E as a diverse supplier, such as Small Businesses, Woman Owned, Veteran Owned, etc. and how you can best position yourself for success. Learn how to obtain contracts or business with corporations and large companies.
In 2020 more than 38.9% of all annual PG&E net procurement spend, equating to almost $3.94 billion, was with certified diverse-owned businesses, including women owned businesses.

About our presenters:
Tiffany Rodriguez is a Manager of Supply Chain Responsibility at PG&E. She has worked in the utility industry for 20 years, with positions in customer service, renewable energy, sourcing, and supplier diversity. Presently, she manages a team focused on PG&E’s Supply Chain Environmental Sustainability, Ethical Sourcing, and Supplier Diversity program enablement.
David Pell has devoted his career to diversity, equity, and inclusion helping major corporations develop best in class supplier diversity programs. He was instrumental in creating the first diverse value-added reseller in the telecommunications industry for Nortel Networks which generated over one billion dollars in revenue. In April of 2013, Pell joined the Pacific Gas and Electric Supply Chain Responsibility organization where he is accountable for implementing key supplier diversity initiatives to increase PG&E supplier diversity program performance.
