What is your biggest professional achievement and why is it meaningful to you?
My biggest professional achievement is managing the travel for one of the most popular musical artists in the world along with his company. This is meaningful to me because, this was one of the most difficult tasks I’ve ever taken on. It required a tremendous amount of attention to detail, patience and resources. I had to make some very high level private travel experiences happen in a very short time and I mastered it. These types of achievements are what keep me going. Knowing that I have a happy client, at the end of the day continues to light a fire in my soul.
Tell us about your business, High Flight Travel Group: What audience does it serve? What problem do you solve?
High Flight Travel Group specializes in luxury leisure, entertainment, group, corporate and custom travel experiences. We pride ourselves in delivering excellence and will always go the extra mile to ensure our clients have extraordinary travel experiences. No matter what type of travel plan, we’re there to guide every step of the way. We have a list of clients that includes, families, actors, production companies, musical artists, sports figures and more. We specialize in executing seamless and stress free travel experiences by completely taking over the travel management load; which includes, flights, hotels, transportation, group bookings and beyond. This allows clients to free up their time to focus on other pressing matters in their organizations and lives.
What is the biggest career challenge you’ve had to overcome?
Standing up for myself in business. There were times when clients tried to change the trajectory of our working relationship and I allowed it, out of fear of losing them. However, I had to learn how to stand firm on my principles. I found that if the client respects and values your work, they will always honor your wishes by finding a middle ground.
How do you define success?
My definition of success is waking up everyday being able to do what you love as a career. I’m a big cheerleader of fulfilling your aspirations, as you only have one life and it’s meant to be lived on your terms.
What is a fun fact that people probably don’t know about you?
Fun Fact: I used to be a make-up artist, I worked on sets, serviced brides and bridal parties!
