I am a Human Resources leader with over 25 years’ experience contributing to the profession through human resources consulting, providing strategic leadership, helping leaders manage their workforce, researching and writing best practices, mentoring managers, and teaching human resources principles. I have ten years teaching, mentoring, and training experience. I have been fortunate to become an expert at compensation and classification, benefit administration, employee relations, laws and regulations, policy writing, training and development. I also have over ten years’ experience writing, coordinating, and managing promotional and new hire testing for law enforcement. I have a Doctorate in Management, a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management.
HR Solutions help public and non-profit organizations recruit the right person, retain top performers, and develop productive employees. We can be the “go to HR person” for questions pertaining to work force issues. Our flexible approach allows us to carter to business’ needs, from short term project-based support to a long term outsourced HR base. We also assist law enforcement with their promotional testing for sergeant, lieutenant, and captain rankings.
Rocky Mountain HR Solutions ideal client is a small business or non-profit that does not have an HR expert as part of their staff. For law enforcement testing, our client would be either a sheriff or chief of police.
If I were to give one piece of advice to my fellow women businessowners it would be to work hard, have fun, dream big, and stay positive. Find a mentor in a small business or be a mentor.
Where have you dreamed of going that you haven’t been to yet?
I would like to tour Scotland, Ireland, and England.
What is one thing people would be surprised to learn about you?
My family says my music does not fit me, I enjoy Rap, Symphonic EBM, and alternative rock with a little heavy metal.
