I'm fascinated by the intersection of women business owners, leaders, and CEO's. Women in leadership roles are so important. The research referenced in this article by Judith Rodin, President at The Rockefeller Foundation, is a bit shocking but it gives us specific information to grow ourselves and our next generation of leaders.
"The analysis looked at the tone, language, and sentiment of media coverage about male and female CEOs—from hiring and firing announcements to stories about leadership styles in a crisis. What we found was shocking, but not surprising to many of us who have long suspected that women in leadership are treated differently than men."
