Herrera Beutler joins a list of candidates supported by NAWBO National.
Washington, D.C. —The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) is announcing its endorsement of U.S. Representative Jaime Herrera Beutler in her bid for re-election in Washington’s 3rd District.
“As a member of the U.S. House Appropriations Committee, the Congresswoman has been a bipartisan voice for small business owners ensuring that start ups, tech innovators and women business owners are heard,” explains Molly Gimmel, NAWBO National Board Chair. “Congresswoman Herrera Beutler recognizes the significant role that women business owners play in the economy and is committed to supporting their efforts to start and scale their businesses. It is our pleasure to endorse her in her bid for re-election.”
“I’m grateful to receive the backing of the National Association of Women Business Owners, the unified voice of over 10 million women-owned businesses in Southwest Washington and across the country,” said Jaime Herrera Beutler. “I'll continue fighting to protect and expand economic opportunities for women entrepreneurs right here in Southwest Washington, and I’m thankful to have the NAWBO on my side in that fight.”
NAWBO National considers candidates for endorsement after they have won their primary. The selection of candidates is based solely on their history of business ownership or their voting record demonstrating their consistent support of business owners. Additional endorsements will be made by NAWBO prior to the November 6 general election.
