NAWBO National Endorses Elise Stefanik For Congress

Stefanik joins a list of candidates with strong business backgrounds supported by NAWBO National.

Washington, D.C. —The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) is announcing its endorsement of U.S. Representative Elise Stefanik in her bid for re-election in New York’s 21st District.

“From her family small business experience to her time in the U.S. House, Elise has demonstrated her keen understanding of the issues facing women and small business owners and her willingness to address those issues and provide solutions in a bipartisan manner,” explains Molly Gimmel, NAWBO National Board Chair.  “We appreciate her unwavering support for small business owners and are proud to endorse her campaign for re-election.”

“I am honored to, once again, have earned the endorsement of the National Association of Women Business Owners,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “Growing up in a small business family, I have seen first hand the unique challenges small business owners face. That's why I've never voted to raise taxes. In Congress, I have proudly worked on a bipartisan basis to help enact pro-growth economic policies, simplify the tax code, and to reduce burdensome regulations. I'm grateful for the support of every NAWBO member, and look forward to continuing working with them to help ensure that every North Country small business has the opportunity to grow and succeed.”

NAWBO National considers candidates for endorsement after they have won their primary. The selection of candidates is based solely on their history of business ownership or their voting record demonstrating their consistent support of business owners. Additional endorsements will be made by NAWBO prior to the November 6 general election.
