The newsletter section for this chapter has not yet been created.
I am thrilled to extend a warm welcome to our 2023/24 year! As President, it brings me immense joy to present our inaugural newsletter, unveiling the dynamic initiatives our new board has already set in motion. The energy and engaging interactions we have planned promise an inspiring journey ahead.
This August, our spotlight shines on Inclusivity. Embracing an inclusive culture isn't merely the right thing to do; it's a strategic imperative that enriches our business landscape. The cornerstone of our board's mission is to cultivate a vibrant and inclusive chapter, igniting transformative changes that empower and support women in the Dallas and Fort-Worth business ecosystem. We've elevated our efforts by curating a diverse range of programs and opportunities, empowering you with a more significant role as key stakeholders in our chapter's evolution. Our focus extends to local outreach, empowering fundraising, and venture creation, all aimed at fortifying our membership offerings while sowing the seeds for the next generation's success. Our goal is for everyone to truly embrace the sense that this is OUR chapter.
We eagerly anticipate your insights—as esteemed NAWBO-DFW members. What does inclusivity signify to you, as women shaping the business landscape in the metroplex? Expect a call from one of us in the near future. Our board is genuinely interested in learning how we can best support your business aspirations through our initiatives. Additionally, be sure not to miss our bi-monthly Office Hours, providing you with the opportunity to engage directly, obtain answers to your queries, and expand your network. Remember to mark your calendars for the September 7th Office Hours with the Directors of Membership and DEIB/Public Policy—more details are on the way!
Thank you for being part of our dynamic community. Let's make this year one of growth and empowerment, together!
Warm regards,
Tolu Akindunni (President)
