The holiday season is a time for celebration, connection, and giving back, and NAWBO DFW’s December ‘Frost and Flannel’ luncheon perfectly captured that spirit. Held at the charming La Calle Doce, our members and guests came together to share an afternoon filled with joy, generosity, and the power of community.
The event kicked off with warm welcomes and the kind of meaningful conversations that make our chapter feel like family. Attendees enjoyed the cozy ambiance of the venue, fitting perfectly with the “Frost and Flannel” theme. Delicious food was served, and as always, La Calle Doce did not disappoint!
To add a festive twist, we played Networking Bingo, an engaging activity that encouraged everyone to connect with new faces and strengthen relationships with fellow women business owners. It was inspiring to witness the energy in the room as members shared their stories, laughter, and aspirations for the new year ahead. And the prizes for winning bingo weren’t too bad either: we gave away jewelry, women empowerment shirts, high-end make up and a Kate Spade purse!
In the spirit of giving, we hosted a donation drive for Union Gospel Mission Dallas, an organization dedicated to serving the homeless and those in need in our community. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our members, we filled an entire table with donations, which were later delivered to Union Gospel Mission. It was a touching reminder of the power we have to make an impact when we come together.
As we reflect on 2024, we’re grateful for the incredible community we’ve built and the opportunities to support one another. The ‘Frost and Flannel’ luncheon was the perfect way to close out the year, celebrating not only the season but also the connections that make NAWBO DFW so special.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, donated, and made this event a success. Here’s to an even brighter 2025 as we continue to uplift women business owners and our greater community!
Stay connected and keep an eye out for our exciting events coming up, including the highly anticipated Women’s Leadership Forum in April. Let’s continue to celebrate, collaborate, and inspire!
Thank you for being a part of our NAWBO DFW family.
