Gather & Grow: A Dynamic Evening of Networking and Learning

On November 14th, NAWBO DFW partnered with Bank of America to host a truly impactful event, “Gather & Grow”, at Maggiano’s Little Italy at NorthPark Mall. Designed to inspire, educate, and connect women business owners, the evening featured an engaging format similar to speed dating that allowed attendees to learn from accomplished experts while fostering meaningful connections.

The event’s standout feature was its rotating table discussions, where attendees had the opportunity to interact directly with table hosts who shared their expertise in key areas vital to personal and professional growth. Each host brought unique insights to the table, ensuring every attendee left with actionable knowledge and fresh perspectives.

Meet the Table Hosts

• Terri Alford
  CEO of TNA Financial Group and a powerhouse in financial empowerment! A former principal turned entrepreneur, Terri now specializes in helping business owners build wealth and create lasting legacies. Known as “The Women’s Wealth Strategist,” Terri’s mission is to equip businesswomen with the tools they need to attract abundance.

  Founder of the North Texas Entrepreneur Education and Training Center, Darlisa is a powerhouse in business development and entrepreneurial education. Her table focused on strategies for building a solid foundation for growth, from refining business plans to leveraging resources for sustainable success.

• Dr. Megan Lyons
  Dr. Lyons, a sought-after expert in nutrition and wellness, led discussions on how prioritizing health can directly impact business success. From tips on staying energized to balancing self-care with professional demands, her practical advice left attendees ready to take actionable steps toward a healthier lifestyle.

• Trimone Washington
