Why did you join NAWBO Chicago and what has been your experience belonging to the organization?

The work of this organization is critically important. Around 42% of businesses in the U.S. are women-owned and the number is growing. They need a voice, they need advocacy, they need funding, they need advisors and they need support. This organization is here to help provide those resources and support and engage more women entrepreneurs in the conversation. Our businesses help fuel the economy, employ millions of workers, and support our families.

Creating a unified voice of women-owned businesses who are coming together to network, collaborate, promote, and support one another not only matters, it is imperative for the growth of our businesses and the next generation of women entrepreneurs.

How do you recommend members make the most out of their NAWBO Chicago membership?

You can make the most of your NAWBO Chicago membership by getting involved. Join a committee, the Board of Directors or a Mastermind group. The power of this organization lies in its people, their expertise and experience and willingness to help others who are on this same journey.
