Why did you join NAWBO Chicago and what has been your experience belonging to the organization?

I joined NAWBO Chicago because running a business can feel like you’re on an island—except it’s not relaxing, and you’re juggling a hundred things at once. I needed a community of women who get it, who’ve been where I’ve been and who are rooting for each other to win.

From day one, I felt like I’d found my tribe. These women show up for each other—sharing advice, celebrating wins and reminding you that you’re not alone in this journey. NAWBO has given me confidence, connections and a space to grow both personally and professionally.

Why does the work of NAWBO Chicago matter?

NAWBO Chicago matters because it’s all about leveling the playing field for women entrepreneurs. It’s creating spaces where we’re not just invited to the table—we’re building the table.

The work they do connects us, empowers us and reminds us that we’re stronger together. When women win in business, we lift families, communities and industries. That’s the ripple effect NAWBO is making happen every single day.
