Message From Our President April 2024

Apr 2, 2024

Dear NAWBO Chicago Members,

As we step into April – the beginning of spring, growth and transformation – our theme for this month is “Bold Moves.” What better way to embody this idea than by diving into the upcoming Women Mean Business®: NAWBO Chicago’s Regional Entrepreneurial Conference & 41st Annual Fundraiser on April 25 at the Hilton in Oak Brook. This event promises to be a celebration of female entrepreneurship, camaraderie and, most importantly, boldness.

At the heart of our conference lies the spirit of empowerment and support for the bold moves that we, as women entrepreneurs, make every day. Our entrepreneurial program is carefully curated to equip you with the tools, insights, and connections necessary to propel your business forward fearlessly. From interactive workshops to insightful panel discussions, we have designed every aspect of the conference with your success in mind.

I am particularly thrilled to introduce our keynote speaker, Alex Batdorf, whose remarkable journey and unwavering support for women in business truly embodies the essence of boldness. Alex’s commitment to championing female entrepreneurs and fostering a culture of innovation aligns perfectly with our conference theme, Women Mean Business®. Her insights and experiences are sure to inspire and empower you to embrace your boldest ambitions.

As we come together at the conference, let us reaffirm our dedication to each other’s success and celebrate the fearless strides we’ve made on our entrepreneurial journeys. Let us seize this opportunity to learn, connect and grow, knowing that together, we are unstoppable.

I encourage every one of you to secure your tickets and mark your calendars for April 25. Join us for what promises to be an unforgettable day of empowerment, inspiration and bold moves! (Wearing NAWBO teal is optional!)

Remember, your presence at the conference not only enriches your own entrepreneurial journey but also strengthens our collective voice as women in business. Let’s make our presence known and our voices heard!

With excitement and anticipation,

Cheryl Vargas
