Farewell from President

Jun 5, 2019

Dear NAWBO Chicago,

I want to thank you for one of the best years of my life. Serving as President was one of the most rewarding jobs I have ever had, and I am so proud of this group that I led and represented each day.

Throughout the year I was humbled and awed by your accomplishments in your businesses and within the communities you serve. Your desire to build relationships with other businesswomen inspired me to help build a community of thought and passion for like-minded women. I was motivated to ensure that all small businesses have a fair opportunity for success, so I used my voice with our civic leaders in an effort to secure that opportunity.

But most of all, I want to thank you for your trust and support. Your trust in me helped build my self-image as a leader in NAWBO, my business and in the communities I serve. As we know, it can be lonely at the top, but knowing you had faith guided me to grow as a person and a professional while working to create the community of women business owners we want and need. I am grateful for your unwavering support.

The passion, drive and spirit of the NAWBO Chicago members have built lasting memories for me and will allow me to reflect on the great year we had.

I wish all of you the best in the coming year as we continue to grow together.

From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!
