I was born and raised on the Central Coast, graduated from Cal Poly in 2001. After college I was fortunate enough to move around the country, working as a Sales Director for Harrah’s Entertainment and for Hilton hotels. Working in hospitality really gave me a foundation of serving others and best practices in the service industry.
I was a proud member of the NAWBO Scranton, PA chapter for several years and that is why I was so eager and excited to join this Central Coast NAWBO group! I am now working at my family owned business, Idlers Home, which has been thriving since my grandparents started it in 1954. I am serving as our Human Resources Director, also coordinating most events for our business. I love what I do as it puts me on the front line with all our team. Through hiring, onboarding, working through positive times and difficult ones with 80 plus team members is challenging and fun all at once.
My two beautiful daughters, Reagan 9 and Taylor 7, keep me busy doing ballet, tap, and volleyball.
I am also a member of the Rotary Club of Paso Robles, team captain for our Relay for Life team (9 years running now!) Co-Chair of the Women in Business in Atascadero and active in PTA at my girls school. When I am not doing all these other things, I really enjoy traveling and camping with my family and I am a runner, trying to complete at least one half marathon somewhere fun and different each year.
