A message of hope and support from NAWBO-CA | NAWBO

Dear #NAWBO-CAcommunity,

We acknowledge the political, social and business climate today. Our hearts are with our members, partners, and our broader community who are negatively impacted and who have lost love ones to the current events.

NAWBO-CA seeks change for women-owned businesses; our call-to-action is now even stronger than before. We will continue to support ongoing communication, healthy relationships, and extended strategic initiatives to enhance the lives of all businesses owned by women and those who identify as women, regardless of race.

Our collective voices will be heard around the country as we focus on our core mission:

  • Strengthening the wealth-creating capacity of our members and promoting economic development within the entrepreneurial community
  • Creating innovative and effective change in the business culture
  • Building strategic alliances, coalitions, and affiliations
  • Transforming public policy and influencing opinion makers

Women business owners have always been the catalyst for positive change. Together, we are building diverse teams that work differently than the ones before us. There is no better multiplier of positive change than our voices and actions as leaders. Our diversity IS our strength.

When the world around us is going through so much, it is each of you who reminds us that there is hope. Our hope comes in the form of being a collective, clear voice of public policy, economic opportunity, and diverse talent collaborating over new ideas, engaging in difficult but necessary conversations, and lifting one another up in good    times and in bad.

You, fellow women business owners, are the diverse leadership that will create a brighter future for us all.

NAWBO-CA is listening and we will continue to make a difference for women business owners. Reach out to us.          Let us know what you need, how we can help, and your ideas on creating a just future for us all.

Hilary Lentini, NAWBO-CA President and Vikita Poindexter, NAWBO-CA President-Elect
