AARP has a strong interest in empowering women business owners on their business journey, this is why AARP proudly partners with the National Association of Women Business Owners. AARP develops and champions a number of valuable resources for small business owners, with a particular focus on those aged 50+ who are looking to take their business to the next level. In addition to the creation of valuable resources for small business, AARP works closely with stakeholders as well as business owners to identify the unique needs of this demographic as well as reach equitable solutions.
AARP has also been a voice in the Family Caregiving space, having developed a suite of resources for employers to support working caregivers. Additionally, AARP worked with Public Private Strategies to create the Small Business Caregiving Guide, to provide resources and guidance to millions of business owners across the United States.
Additionally, AARP is committed to elevating the value of the multigenerational workforce and older workers in the workforce. That is why AARP has created the AARP Employer Pledge Program. The pledge program is a nationwide group of employers who have stood with AARP in affirming the value of experienced workers and are committed to developing a more diverse workforce.
