Don’t Miss Facebook Posts by Your Favorite People & Organizations
Do you feel like you’re missing Facebook posts from your favorite people and organizations? You’ve “liked” them, “friended” them, and “followed” them, but still don’t see to see their posts. That’s because Facebook only sends posts to the newsfeeds of less than 2% of followers. The post gets shared to more followers if there is more “engagement” (i.e. more people like, click on, comment on, and share the post), but it’s still a small number of people who will see the post without taking the time to go directly to the page of the person or organization.
You can make sure you see the posts of the people and organizations that you WANT to see with two simple techniques:
1. SEE FIRST. Add the Page you want to see to your Facebook list of up to 30 “See First” pages. First, go to the page of the person or organization you want to see, and click the “Following” button. Then click “See First” on the dropdown menu. The display is a little bit different for individual pages vs. business pages, as shown in the screen shots below.
2. SET FACEBOOK “NOTIFICATIONS” TO SEND YOU ALERTS ABOUT ACTIVITY BY YOUR FAVORITES:
You have many choices of the types of notifications you can receive:
To make sure you see the posts of all your “See First” favorites, you will still need to scroll through your Newsfeed, because the posts you want to see may be at the bottom of the most recent posts if your See First favorites are all active on Facebook.
