January 25, 7-8pm, The Vine Room (Hopkins) - Bossypants by Tina Fey
February 22, 7-8pm, The Vine Room (Hopkins) - Effortless by Greg McKeown, Part 1
March 29, 7-8pm, The Vine Room (Hopkins) - Effortless by Greg McKeown, Part 1
- January Boss Book Club: Bossypants
Tina Fey’s collection of essays delivers a “spiky blend” of humor, reflection, and smart thinking.
Bossypants proves that “pretty is nowhere near as important as funny, and funny doesn’t work without that rare
balance of truth and heart.” Enjoy this witty, wise read, then join us at
The Vine Room for our conversation about humor-laced leadership and laughter at work.
- February & March Boss Book Club: Effortless
Greg McKeown offers practical strategies for easier, streamlined actions to achieve our most important goals. This is a
book that inspires action, so we will spend two months unpacking and applying McKeown’s wisdom. In February
we will review Effortless and make personalized plans for putting it into practice for a month. Then in March
we’ll share what worked, what didn’t, and where we might go next in our pursuit of overachieving without overexerting.
