2008 March Membership Campaign
This March, the competition is hotter than ever - does your chapter have what it takes to meet the Power of Numbers challenge?
During last year’s membership drive, you welcomed over 650 new members to the organization. With your help, this coming year we can once again welcome record numbers into the NAWBO family.
Because chapters are the driving force of membership recruitment, we want to challenge you this March to help prove the Power of Numbers. As you know, the larger NAWBO is, the greater impact we can make on the social, political, and economic landscape of the United States.
Rules of the Contest
- Contest will run from March 1 to March 31, 2008.
- Applicants must use the standardized National Membership Application Form or join online.
- Applications must be postmarked by March 31, 2008
- People joining online or by fax must do so by March 31, 2008
- Applicants must mail full payment and National Membership Application Form directly to NAWBO at the Lockbox Address [PO Box 826157, Philadelphia, PA 19182-6157]
- Three categories—small (below 50 members), medium (50 - 149 members), and large (150+ members). Membership numbers based on active members as of January 31, 2008.
Prizes
- The chapter in each of these categories with the largest percentage increase in members from March 1st to 31st will receive two complimentary registrations for the 2008 Women’s Business Conference in Phoenix, AZ.
- The chapter in each of these categories with the second largest percentage increase will receive one complimentary registration for the 2008 Women’s Business Conference in Phoenix, AZ.
- In addition, these chapters will be recognized at the 2008 Women’s Business Conference and in the NAWBO in Action section of NAWBOtime.
