Connie Smith owns Minuteman Press Fort Bend Printing. She holds BS and MS Degrees from Baylor University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. Prior to starting her printing and graphic design businesses, Connie worked as a geologist for nearly 20 years in the oil and gas industry. In January 2000, Connie’s passion for graphic design and her desire to work with people led her to establish Minuteman Press Fort Bend Printing.
Her greatest challenge was starting a new career in a new town where she knew virtually no one. After seven years, Connie has managed to grow her businesses by offering superb customer service, high quality standards, and a ”can-do” attitude that helps customers explore their options, leading to her infamous tag-line: “If you can think it, I can ink it!” Connie is Immediate Past President of NAWBO Houston.
